There are sets of bagatelles by this composer for bassoon, clarinet, flute and oboe, with piano accompaniment. Each set has its own charm while thoroughly enjoyable to play. Jonathan FeBland thinks of all his compositions in the bagatelle collections as being in what he calls his Light English style. That is a good description for all his pleasing tuneful music in each set.
